Law & Leadership Summer Program
Anchorage Youth Court is hosting its second summer law and leadership program for local teens entering 9th grade. Participants are learning about civil rights, criminal justice issues, doing mock trials, mock negotiations, and creating policy advocacy plans. Last year we had almost 40 guest speakers, and the feedback from the participants was that they wanted more guest speakers.

- What you do as a lawyer or advocate
- Why you do what you do
- A specific policy issue important to you/your work (including background, current work, opposing views/barriers) OR your perspective on the morning lesson plan.
