Dan E. Dickinson is a certified public accountant in private practice in Anchorage. He also holds the certified management accountant designation.
He has served in several state and municipal administrations, including time as the director of tax for the State of Alaska. His consulting practice concentrates on state and local taxes (SALT) with a focus on oil and gas. The spectrum of his work ranges from compliance and mechanics to long range fiscal policy issues.  A major milestone in his professional life was his involvement in the 2006 and 2007 production tax reforms in Alaska. as well as the 2010 passage of the Cook Inlet Recovery act. He was able to see some ideas that he had been advocating for years finally make it into law, (if not exactly in the form he had been advocating).
In the eighties and nineties he was involved as a consultant and expert witness in a number of oil and gas royalty and tax cases both outside and here in Alaska. A 40+ year resident of Anchorage, he has served on the boards of several not-for profits as treasurer. He holds a BA in lunar geology from Brown University.

Josh says, "Greetings! My name is Joshua Pak and I am a Senior attending Polaris K-12. I am passionate about law, especially restorative justice, and I believe that everyone is deserving of a second chance. During the winter, you can probably find me cross-country skiing and during the summer, you can definitely find me fishing for salmon. If you would like to present at a Bar meeting, we'll make it happen!"
