Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services
(RAIS) Spring Donation Drive
You can earn an hour of Anchorage Youth Court credit during the months of April and May by bringing donated items to the AYC office at 838 W. 4th Ave. These items will be used by RAIS to support refugees and asylum seekers as they adjust to life in Anchorage!
What to donate: (items in red are especially needed/requested)
Clothing Items: winter coats, gloves, hats, scarves, all children's clothing
Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, lotion, toothpaste
Household Items: sponges, soap, laundry detergent, cleaning sprays, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, silverware, plates, bowls, pots/pans/glassware
Specific Food Items: beans, white rice, black tea bags, cooking oil, honey, pasta, tomato sauce, salt and pepper
Miscellaneous: gift cards, board games, bus passes, henna
