Sponsor a team today for your opportunity to claim ultimate bragging rights for 2012!  Under the direction of our AYC teen judges, 20 teams of four gather to compete in five rounds of head-to‐head Jeopardy‐style fun. As rounds progress teams can purchase tokens to double and even triple points.  In addition to the main event, the evening features a light dinner, entertainment, silent and dessert auctions and the infamous Heads or Tails game.

Which team will be the overall top scorer? The McKim/Buckendorf BP team “We ♥ Anchorage Youth Court” took 2011 honors as the 1st Place Overall Team Winner and 2nd Place Most Correct Answers. Can BP do it again or will “Feldman, Orlansky & Sanders”, “Jermain, Dunnagan & Owens”, “Anchorage Bar Association” or a new team climb to the top of the 2012 leader board?

Which team will answer the most questions correctly? Will team “Stoel Rives” pull off a two‐fer and be the ones with all the answers for a second straight year or will AYC crown “Thomas, Head, & Greisen”, ASRC’s “The Outsiders”, or a new all‐knowing team?

Which teams will pit their trivia knowledge in a competitive Team Challenge? Last year, “The (Public) Defenders” took on “The REAL Public Defenders” (aka: District Attorneys) while the Anchorage Police Department Employees Association challenged the International Association of Fire Fighters. Which teams will be brave enough to throw down the gauntlet this year?

Team sponsors will be included in the AYC Annual Report, on the Anchorage Youth Court website, in event materials and highlighted in the slide show during the event.

For over 22 years, Anchorage Youth Court’s after‐school and summer program has helped teens from a wide variety of backgrounds develop citizenship, leadership and practical skills.  AYC is an integral component in the development of young leaders who are trained by legal professionals to conscientiously serve as clerks, bailiffs, attorneys, and judges in a peer court setting, while juvenile offenders are held accountable for their actions and gain an appreciation for the community. Your team sponsorship directly impacts Anchorage Youth Court and enables Anchorage/Chugiak/Eagle River/Girdwood teens to continue providing “Justice for Youth by Youth.”
