AYC FALL CLASS

Registration

Open registration will take place at the Anchorage Youth Court (AYC) office, 838 W. 4th Avenue (on the corner of 4th Avenue and I Street next to the Teriyaki Box).

To register, download the registration form and bring it to the AYC office:

Spring Class information will be available soon.

 

Students and parents must sign the registration form and you must bring it to the office in person, where you will receive the curriculum packet.

Registration is on a first come first served basis due to class room availability. There is a limit of 20 students per class. Please call the AYC office (907-274-5986) if you have questions.

Registration Fee

The $25 Registration Fee must be paid at the time of registration. Fees may be paid by cash, check or pay pal. Make checks payable to AYC.  Registration Fee will be waived for eligible low-income households.

 

Curriculum

  Students received the curriculum when registering.  Each student should have read through the first week curriculum before the first class to prepare.

Each student should bring pen or pencil and paper to class for taking notes.  Students may also want to bring a snack or coins to use the vending machines during class breaks.

 

Class Times and Places

  2011 AYC Fall Bar Classes meet at public high schools in the Municipality of Anchorage and Eagle River.

In Anchorage, classes meeting weeknights meet for 2 hours per week for 7 weeks.  Classes meeting Saturday are condensed and meet for 6 weeks.

In Eagle River, class is condensed and meets for 3 weeks beginning October 15th.

Classes begin the week of September 19th.
